I’m transferring from Kodi to Plex; in my libraries I have done a lot of corrections (1 or 2 filenames) but lots of poster art. There is a lot of updates.
I figured after updating plex would have an easy option to enable collections or disable like Kodi.
I found a forum post which says both tmdb and plex movie need collections enabled to update in Settings > Agents (top of my agents list above local media).
I have done a rescan. They do not sort in collections. Is there something I am missing to put them in collections.
If I have to refresh all meta-data; I am going to skip that and go without but that will be a shame (due to the amount of effort and time taken to correct posters). So the question is if there isn’t an easy option, is there a feature request for plex and is there any way to scan the metadata collection specific field for all movies keeping all other data as it is?
(2) Also excuse my newb understanding, but I am testing it on an LG smart TV app miles away - am I correct in assuming the Netflix style skin is the only one. And there is no way to skin or change the layouts how movies are presented?
(3) Last question - I notice one or two do not match well despite having a 100% match I use a “title of movie (2020)(1080P)(3DSBS)” format; again not going to change all file names - but just wondered if there is an explanation on the occasional movie not scraping correctly despite a 100% match.
