Received Plex Server update message on the Synology Server and on The Mac PMP. I proceeded to update server as I have for the past years updates:
D/L PMS s/w via d/l message on the Synology NAS
Stop PMS on Synology NAS
Installed updated version on the NAS
Rebooted Synology NAS
Started PMS
Run Plex Media Player on NAS (or Mac, iPhone or Samsung TV)
Selecting Movie or Music displays Unavailable movie info screen, selecting Play generates
Playback Error Please check that the file exists and the necessary drive is mounted.
In the Movie (or Music) selection screen, Edit video selection (pencil?), Info displays the correct fully qualified name (fqn)
Under the ellipses (…) Media Info the fqn is listed as is the complete file info displayed.

Clean Bundles
Temporaly moves all videos and music & photos to different volume and and back and re-scanned Librarys
Thank you very much, it worked. There was no permission set for the Plex or Admin user. Any idea how the upgrade get control of DMS to change the permissions?
So has this been a problem with previous Plex versions? Was it all under this version of DSM or others? I have installed all the previous Plex and DSM versions and this is the 1st problem I have run into.
