I upgraded to the plex pass so I can preview trailers and some other things but I have updated the plex on my freeNAS and deleted the apps off my tv and firetv and reinstalled and still have the same thing as before I upgraded subscriptions, is there something I am missing?
Make sure your Plex Server is signed into your Plex account.
(Settings - Server - General)
Shut down Plex server, wait a few minutes and spin it back up.
Make sure the server device has internet connection so it can communicate with plex.tv to get notified about your new subscription.
Many of the features of a Plex Pass are only apparent after a library refresh (e.g. movie extras and trailers).
Keep in ind that the FreeBSD build of Plex doesn’t support any Gracenote-related functionality.
If you want the Premium Music features, you need to use the Plex Docker image instead of the FreeBSD build.
But in this case you have to re-create your music library anyway, because an existing music library cannot be converted into a premium library.
