I recently upgraded to Plex Pass for all the added features. I have been running a plex server since they first came out and love the whole system. I wrestled with paying for membership vs staying with the free sever since they went with Plex Pass a cuople years ago and finally decided that all 5he additional benefits were worth it. The only problem is that since I upgraded my membership absolutely nothing is different on my plex server or on any of my plex roku devices. Did I miss a crucial setup that? Now that I think about it, there IS one thing that works which I love to annoy my kids with and that is making them watch 5 trailers before they get to the movie!!!

Well, for the music stuff you may need to rebuild your library with the plex premium music agent. Beyond that, you should be able to create a plex home, which would give you the ability to create sub-accounts. You should also be able to sync to all the mobile remote clients and cloud. You should also be able to grab the DRV beta, if you’re into that. Finally, you can sign up for the cloud beta and wait in line.
Don’t forget to ‘Sign out’ and “Sign in” to refresh locally. This includes your server.
To get the automatic extras and trailer for movies in your library, you need to Refresh your movie library.

Unfortunately, if you want access to the Premium Music library features, you need to create a new Music library of the type ‘Premium Music’.
(you can leave your old music library there during a transitional phase, the premium music library is a bit temperamental and need some extra loving & care to unleash its full power)
Automatic music Lyrics are available in a conventional Music library too, but here again only after a Refresh.

If you use mobile Plex clients (iOS, Android and Windows Mobile), you should now also be able to Sync content onto the inbuilt storage of them.
With Plex Pass, all of the above clients are also available without additional cost for you.
If you link one of the supported cloud storage providers to your account, you should also be able to use Cloud Sync.
