Plex server does not recognize that I have Plex Pass

Hey,

I’m Plex Pass User but my server is still not recognizing that my account is now “Premium”. So far I cannot use any of the premium features (add users, trailers, …).

I logged in and out of the server, disconnected my server from plex and reconnected it again, restarted the server but nothing helped yet.

Could you help me please?

Verify, that the plex.tv user account under
Settings - Server - General
is the one that has a Plex Pass.

If it is the right one, shut down your plex server for a few minutes and retart it then.

Wait after startup again a few minutes. The server needs to have a working internet connection.

If you are able to create users under
Settings- Users - My Home then your Plex Pass has been activated

As for the other features:
Movie Trailers and Extras on the movie preplay pages are only available after you refreshed your movie library. Make sure to configure your metadata agents accordingly.

The premium music features are only available in a Premium Music library, which needs to be created first. You cannot convert your old music library into a ‘premium’ one.
