I’ve had a problem for a month.
I can’t synchronize subtitles and also the subtitles downloaded by me on the computer have strange characters.
I would like to mention that the language is Romanian.
What i could do to make the sync function work again

Then you got the wrong subtitle file
Most likely due to your downloaded subtitle files are not encoded in UTF-8, which is mandatory for subtitle files
They are downloaded from the plex app.

Plex tries to match the best it can based on filename.
It has no control over neither naming, nor the quality/encoding of the subs it downloads

It all depends…
Are your medias ripped from Bluray, or torrent downloads?
If the later, then make sure the name is as downloaded, so they can be identified, making it more easy to pick the correct matching sub, if one exist in your language.
And regarding UTF-8, I can only suggest [REL] SRT2Utf-8 which only works if you are not using the new Plex Movia agent
I fixed the problem with strânge characters but now i can t sincronyze.
It s still because of encoding?
