Hello. I am getting the error "Conversion failed. The transcoder crashed or failed to start up. It’s exit code was 1 " in certain channels.
I read something online about fstab and noexec… Any idea what I’m supposed to do to fix my issue?

My installation is now doing this as well, wondering if it’s due to the python3 update that my media pc received.
Stop the Plex Server, wait one minute, restart it, wait two minutes, use a client to cause the error, after that happens wait one minute, download the Plex Server logs and upload them here for review. Also let us know exactly what channel you used to cause the error.

What channel did you watch to get the transcoder error?
Does the transcoder fail when you watch movies on your server, or does it just happen with certain channels?
Just with channels, from what I have noticed. I do know that I have been having other weird playback issues with my media and with channels when I use the Chrome web client. I don’t have any issues with playback on other devices like iOS etc though.
Plex server runs on FreeNAS
EDIT: Just to clarify, trying the channel on a different device does not work.
I don’t know if there was a change in recent PMS releases that require channel developers to update things, but it might be a possibility. I would post in the appropriate channel board, or contact the channel developer directly about it.
