Asking here, I have about 10 HVEC (4k/10bit) movies saved and trying to play on various devices throughout my home - all are crappy, stutter, buffer, etc.
Even on a 4k/10bit monitor - stutter. And, on the TVs or 1080p devices there’s no transcoding?
It’s not a hardware issue server side as the media is sitting on a 2950x (16core/32thread), 64gb RAM, with HW acceleration enabled from Nvidia Titan Xx2 SLI. Media is physically on an NVME and all connections are CAt5E.
So, it’s a software thing - can someone help?
