HEVC Playback issues with latest AppleTV Beta on AppleTV HD

I currently have a few Apple TV HDs still in circulation and I have noticed with the latest beta 8.21 (6293) that 1080p HEVC media is unable to Direct Play without a large amount of freezing and skipping.

I’m not seeing this issue on my AppleTV 4K or iOS/iPad os Devices, and this is content that previously used to play fine on the Apple TV HD. Its 1080p SDR HEVC Main 10, 24p.

Technical details report that the content is direct playing.
