There are performance issues with HEVC transcoding and SRT subtitles. Burn in subtitles is turned off but as soon as a .srt subtitle is enabled the transcoder start buffering, with PGS subtitles it works fine.
I believe it moves the transcoding to the CPU when SRT subtitles are enabled instead of keeping it on the iGPU/GPU.
