Hey Plex, can you set the default quality to max on all new installs please

So, this has been irritating me for quite some time now. Everytime I grant access to a new user, they don’t know they have to manually set playback quality to max in settings. So my server has to transcode my high definition videos down to 720p and work harder and they miss out on 1080p+

So I have to call or text them and walk them through the process. It gets old.

I would like Plex to default all new installs to max/original quality, or have an option during initial setup to have this set. (I can instruct them to set max during the setup process)

Default All Clients to Max Internet Streaming

My server keeps getting bogged down transcoding for no reason because clients have a low default setting for internet streaming. They are all capable of streaming original quality, and since I’ve been converting a lot of my files to x265, the transcoded 720p version ends up having a higher bitrate than the original does in 1080 or 4k. Please please please allow the server to choose to default the client bandwidth setting to original by default and save my poor server.
