I have a basic Mycloud team where I have an exclusive folder for the movies. I use Plex media server on my Samsung S8. I would like to know how I have to put the physical address of my cloud that is in my home network. I have tried several ways but never upload the movies from the cloud. thank you.
No you don’t. That is the Plex client. The server needs to be a computer or other supported device like Nvidia Shield or NAS device. See https://www.plex.tv/apps-devices/#servers
There you need to setup up Plex Server and than you can connect to that with your Samsung S8.

I got confused with the server application on Android. the plex server is on a pc. my problem is that I do not know how to put the folder that is in my WD Mycloud as a movie source. the name of the network device is WDMyCloud and the local address 192.168.2.200. I have username and password in the access to the cloud. How do I use my cloud as a source of plex movies? Thank you.
