Hi-Sense TV "Play Version"

Hello, so there is Hi-Sense TV that has plex installed and updated. We’ve noticed that it ignores the “Play Version” action when selecting a movie when multiple versions exist.

The TV is outside the PMS network. PMS is hooked up to a NAS. All remote access settings seem to be ok (see troubleshooting below)

troubleshooting steps.
have tried rebooting both and confirmed files work through plex phone app and also confirmed the behavior by watching which drive of the NAS spins up.
