Hidden Plex Metadata from previously used Title?

I have a perplexing issue.

I used to have some (clean/edited) movies saved from TV broadcasts, and I manually edited the Title to say “Mr. Brooks [edited]” for example. I have since replaced those with the original, unedited copies, and I wanted to use the same Plex entry so that it didn’t add it to my “Recently Added” list. I added the new files, they are automatically merged into one Plex entry, then deleted the original files so only the original, unedited file remains. Then I remove " [edited]" from the Title, unlock the Title attribute, etc. However, the term “edited” is still somewhere hidden in these movies’ information within Plex. The original file has absolutely no metadata containing or related to the term “edited,” nor can I find any Plex info, whether in the XML or what, that contains the word “edited.” Yet, when I search the term “edited” in Plex, all these movies show up. I have tried refreshing metadata, fixing match, etc but behavior still the same. Any help? For example:

Run a “Optimise Database” and see if that fixes the issue. I suspect this is left-over data in our optimised search tables.

Thanks for the suggestion. Still happens after optimizing db (Settings → Troubleshooting). However, they don’t appear in the dropdown while live searching… only when I hit “return” and show the full list in all sources (“Search all sources…”).
Also: seems to be in the web app and desktop app. But not mobile. They don’t show in the “Top Results” or any of the categories in the iOS app.
