While you can currently setup an advanced filter in the Movie Library view for a given collection / played status. You can’t currently toggle the played / unplayed status on the actual Collection page itself.
The ability to quickly hide the played movies from view, or possibly dim them feels like something that would be a useful feature on the collection page itself.
How it could work
Ideally there would be a toggle on this page to hide played movies from view completely, or (optionally) just dim them.
If it was decided that a simple ‘show/hide played’ toggle made more sense than a drop down (I’m leaning to that myself), then the ability to hide movies is probably the more useful change. We already have the small yellow corner to indicate played status, which does give some indication currently, whereas for large collections, the ability to quickly and completely hide your played movies actually makes the Collection pages much more usable
