High CPU about transcode issue and no video running

Hello ,

This is the second time this issue happens and I really don’t know where it comes from…
My plex runs on a TruNas jail and since my father stream a 4K episode transcode to 3M/sec , my CPU hits the 100% .
From now on, no video is streaming and my CPU still hit the top :
log tells me this again and again:
Message[Req#3a9c/Transcode/gfpyda6mse4xqiys1gimeq4o/efd32d4f-d077-4a10-bc90-da9a77363480] Transcoder segment range: 0 - 261 (261)

Any ideo where it comes from ?

I don’t really a plex pro so if you need some hidden logs or anything else , ask me :slight_smile:

Likely your father’s player doesnt support the encoding, so server is trying to transcode it. Please post media info of the file you are trying to stream (video/audio codecs and subtitle format).

Also when he is trying to stream, does your dashboard say its transcoding?
