High CPU Usage Plex Transcoder since update to 1.21.1.3830

Since updating to 1.21.1.3830 there are several Plex Transcoder processes hogging the CPU.

That screenshot was taken with one movie playing on the server using Plex Web in Chrome. The movie was buffering which is extremely unusual as I have had over 7 streams at once without issues in the past, found that there were several Plex Transcoder processes hogging the CPU. I have not changed any settings, and it may be worth noting I have not toyed with the transcoder settings since a long time ago, possibly 2 years. Anyways that was on the 19th(which was yesterday, the day after the most recent update). I rebooted the Windows machine and all was fine at that time but I saw more lag today and looking at it the transcoder processes are stacking up again.

Same problem here since the update. I haven’t changed any settings either.
Films can hardly be started because of the long waiting times.

I have already tried to adjust the transcoder settings, but without success.

What could that be?

Thanks for your response. As you can see I was ignored by the Plex team. I have resorted to converting most of my files to avoid the transcoding using the free software ffmpeg. If you search google for “ffmpeg gui” you can find a super easy open source program that you can use to convert your movies/shows. If you need extra help let me know- unlike the silent team I am more then happy to help in anyway I can.
