I have installed Plex on a Raspberry Pi4.
Unfortunately, when streaming FullHD media, there are always interruptions so that the loading screen / circle is visible.
The CPU load is also very high.
What is the reason for this? It can’t be that the Raspy is too weak for this?
What information is showing in the “now playing” tile for that playback on the Plex server dashboard? If there’s a lot of transcoding, this might be too much for a Pi (in which case you might consider how the used files can direct-play on your clients, e.g. by using a different client, removing restrictions or use optimized files). https://support.plex.tv/articles/200871837-status-and-dashboard/
Yes.
Can you double check the playback video quality preference on your LG if local streaming is set to a specific quality? If so, try setting it to original/max qualiz.
