Hisense / VIDAA app direct play not working, but works when using DLNA

Hi,

I own an Hisense U7NQ. I get the circle, when I use the app on the tv. I activated DLNA on the Plex server and can stream the files directly without any problem. 4k, HD, x265, x264 are working fine. If I use the app, I have to use direct stream and cannot use direct play. So it is not a connection problem. Any hints?

There’s nothing you can change. With dlna, the player is using software codecs which aren’t available to the Plex app, so you can’t get the same results.
