The plex app for Viddaa really needs a update. Stuggling to get movie/tv show posters and just laggy,
this is on a U7N aswell

same here on a Leica VP using Vidaa U7.6.
The lags only appear with Plex Player. I am able to stream content with the same local Plex server through DLNA with Vidaa Media Player on the same VP.
Very disappointed, new Vidaa Hisense with plex for vidaa ver 5.91.0.
Video starts playing then stops and gets circle of death before getting playback error

After hours of moves, i solved the problem.
I uncheck the 3 options for “direct reproduction” and now all work well.

Did you unchecked in the Plex client Debug section “Direct Play”, Direct Stream" and “Use alternate streaming protocol for video playback” ?
If so, it means that stream will always be transcoded even if the original file format and codecs are supported by the TV.

It was the only way i found for solve the problem with x264 and x265 files.
My Hisense VIDDA updated today and now Plex can no longer play AAC 5.1. It seems only some of the channels are playing as I can only hear background noises and no spoken dialogue. Was fine before the update. Version is also still 5.91.0 but platform V0000.08.53C.P0220.
AC3 5.1 is fine….
