Hi markus101,

I frequently use plex app, my library is made of files with codec x265 / hevc, but plex client v5.12.2 does not work properly with directplay.

Video artifacts are seen during viewing.

With transcoding it works, but you have a loss of quality and HDR function, in addition the plex server to a high consumption of the cpu.
Do you think it will be fixed in the next updates?

(the tv supports x265 codec).

I have the same problem… TV supports it if I ran the file directly :confused:

I have the same problem on hisense 70a7100f.
Plex client version 5.16.1
Server Plex version 1.23.1.4602

I resolve with buy a fire tv 4k stick, plex work with directplay and hdr.

Vidaa Os is ■■■■ system the same of plex client.
