Home Page In Plex Web Cannot be Opened and Always Loading

Hello Dears,

I have an issue in my Plex Web Player When I open it from Google Chrome or even MS Edge; the home library page is not opening as usual to show my continuous media to watch, the new added movies and TV Shows, …
It’s always stuck and buffering loading (as in the picture), while when I select another tab for library (Movies, TV Shows, Music, …) it opens normally.

I have tried to clear browser cash and log out and in for my Plex account with no luck.
My Plex server is on WD-My Cloud Home.

Appreciate your kind support and advise to fix this issue and restore my home page back.

Still problem exist and to open home page through any browser I have to use a vpn.

I have the exact same issue and have tried the same clearing tasks. This only happens via the WebUI and the Home screen works fine on my Firesticks and the phone app. I am running Version 4.123.2.

Can we get weigh in from a Plex support person?

This should be fixed already if using app.plex.tv and the local bundled one should be fixed in the beta that was released today.

it is an update in server currently in beta. see the last two bullet points here.

this update will be for plex pass users only, or it will be available for all users.

I do NOT use app.plex.tv, only use LOCAL plex, and I am also having same issue; home page (web/index.html#!/) won’t open, circle always spinning

understood. Just FYI app.plex.tv still accesses your server locally just like the local one does. once either is loaded it is in browser memory

I don’t have an ETA for the beta it to be released publicly but the fix is in there. If you want to try it even if you don’t have a PP I am happy to give you a link to whichever OS you have.
