Opening local plex page via right button on plex server won't connect automatically

Hi. I’m use to open my plex page by right clicking on the Plex media server icon in the task bar. Normally, it open a chrome page redirecting to http://127.0.0.1:32400/web/index.html and automatically login.

Now, it show me the page and there is a Sign in right top of the page. If i click on setting, it show Version 4.43.4. When i click to login, i end up on a page freeze with the plex logo. I see that it redirect me to this address “https://app.plex.tv/auth/#!?clientID=019iscpxezb7ivfks9aa41nk&context[device][product]=Plex%20Web&context[device][version]=4.43.4&context[device][platform]=Chrome&context[device][platformVersion]=86.0&context[device][device]=Windows&context[device][model]=bundled&context[device][screenResolution]=1920x915%2C1920x1080&context[device][layout]=desktop&context[device][protocol]=http-loopback&forwardUrl=http%3A%2F%2F127.0.0.1%3A32400%2Fweb%2Findex.html%23!%2Flogin%3FpinID%3D703788511&code=k45wbt9phpu9quwzk4givq8mz&language=fr-CA&guestToken=XdB6Fvd3nH6Sng32qMGz”

If i erase all caracter after https://app.plex.tv/, it redirect me to https://app.plex.tv/desktop# automatically logged in with version Version 4.46.2

So what’s wrong ???

do you have any adblocker or any other type of extension that can affect the page loading. In most modern ones you can whitelist URLs

Yes but i put them all down. I tried to log out. When i want to log in again, no popup. I just download the latest plex media server version cause i saw that i had not the latest one. Then start again opening the “open plex” via the plex media server icon. End up on the plex page where it show me to sign in or sign up. If i sign in, it doesn’t work. If i click on sign up, it redirect me to a plex page https://www.plex.tv/ if i click on Lauch, then it connect me ??? What is wrong lol ??

It looks like if i use the local url http://127.0.0.1:32400/web/index.html, it doesn’t connect me. If i use the url https://app.plex.tv/desktop#, then it connect ??? That is soooo weird !!!

so you tried disabling these? the puzzle piece looking icon should show any extension that can affect the page.

also just FYI two pages are the same stuff mostly. one from app.plex.tv (which is a newer version) just initially loads off our host and the other loads off your server. Your server content does not go out to the world and back or anything

Ok, disable the two pages on my local and on the sign in too. Than, what can i say, IT WORKS !!! Thank you so much :slight_smile: You’re the best !
