My collection is broken into a number of libraries that split the content so that I can allocate libraries to different users So in cutdown forma I have:
Kids/TVShows
non_Kids/TVShows
Documentaries
In the standard release of the interface all TV shows were consolidated into a single display of ‘Recently Added TV’. In the preview (as of a few days ago) I now see (given the groups above) - 3 collections of ‘Recently added TVShows’. This applies to both TV Shows and Movies and in my case means that instead of 2 list s of recently added I now have 10 lists. This has made that page unusable.
My hope would be that the display would be left alone but given that people may have use cases where the new format would be of benefit could there at least be an option to provide the informatioon in a consolidated format.
And to be honest every now and again each of the distinct, library centric displays just all seem to diplay the same programs from all over the place.
Yes, it’s good to be able to select the libraries I am interested in in the home screen. However, by having 20 libraries, I cannot really find the latest episodes. Can we have an option to combine several libraries to one group?
Yes very frustrating having to scroll through a bunch of Recently Added sub-folders to find something I just added. Recently Added Marvel Movies, Recently Added DC Movies, Recently Added Comedies, etc, etc. Unify back to Recently Added Movies and Recently Added TV
Also, you can only see the last 6 or so recently added items in a library now, it used to scroll for something like 50. Would like to see it returned to the way it was.
How come this have changed? I also have tons of different folders/categories and on all different devices home menu shows all categories of recently added rather than have 1 rows movies and TV… Very annoying
Most of us would want old consolidation back for sure.
