Home Screen Not Refreshing (Web Client)

I have noticed this for a while, but is there no sort of “recurring / regular” refresh of the Home screen in the Web interface? If I play some video on another player (iOS, Roku, etc.) … no updates on the Home Screen in the web interface. I can move to a different display / library, and back - then it refreshes. But there should be some sort of automated refresh, agreed?

I presume you are talking about watched status updates. So on your web home you are expecting watched items to be marked as such or perhaps disappear from the Continue Watching hub ?

Some aspects of the content is updated immediately (eg: if you refresh metadata, add items to library).

I confirm, for example I run a reading on the Windows Plex application (1.18.3.2129-41af4e729), I stop at 20:00. I resume reading in my room on the Android TV application of my Xiaomi and I finish the episode. When I go to open the next day the plex application for Windows it will not update, it will always tell me that I am at 20:00 while I finished the episode on the Android TV application. I am obliged to mark it myself as being read

In theory you should never have to mark something as watched manually if you watch the content till the end. What happens if you just navigate off the home page and back again ? Does it show as watched without manually mark it as watched ?

Hi,

Not so much watched status (watched / unwatched), rather the point in the video that I have watched. For example, on Web (Home) I’m 1:50 in. Then I watch 30 min more on another device (so 2:20 in now) … return to Web (Home), and it still shows 1:50, play continues from there … not from 2:20 as it should.

No, even when I change pages and I go directly into the list of episodes it remains as if I was still 20 minutes.

Last night I started an episode of a TV series that I started on the application plex windows. I stopped at 15 minutes and I went to see the end in my room on android tv. This morning when I got up I launched Plex Windows and I was still at 15 minutes 30.
