Home users cannot share single item with other users

Hi

I have created a series of home users on my server, the admin profile can use the “share” feature to other home users but those home users do it have the option to share at all.

I have tested by creating new home users with complete access (no restrictions) but I still cannot share when logged with these accounts.

How can a home users get this feature?

I think that’s the expected behavior. Only the server administrator as the owner of the media can share.

I understand that sharing then is an alternative to sharing the library

I though it was like a way to recommend a media to a user so it is added in their watchlist

Is there a way to send recommendations?

No, Plex has no such feature
However there’s a feature suggestions for the server owner or individual users to recommend specific content.
