I am sharing some of my personal home videos with a friend and when they watch them it is not showing up as being watched by them. However, other videos such as movies do show up. Am I missing a setting or is this just the way it works?
Personal Videos won’t show up in the Watch History, because they cannot be matched to a regular movie or tv show.
The only place where you could see them as watched is on your server’s Dashboard, under “View Full History” (but only if the video was watched from beginning to end)
or alternatively in 3rd-party server monitor software like Tautulli
