Hi, I have been playing around in Plex and noticed in the users history area shows and moives watched since they joined Plex.
They have watched alot more than is shown and they don’t appear in the history area?
All options I have for these is mark as played or unplayed. How can I delete or remove these entries?
You cannot.
What you are looking at is the plex profile of this account. It is not your account.
What appears on here is depending on whether this user is allowing his “watched” status to be synced to his/her account on plex.tv
Currently it appears that this sync is not active and it has probably been activated for only a very short time before, or the user has marked manually some videos on the Watchlist or Discover as “watched”.
This user can either opt to
- enable this syncing, which would over time sync the local playback status from your server’s database into plex.tv, thus making the shown statistics more accurate
- set the display of statistics to “private” and thus make these disappear from the Profile page, except the user itself.
This is up to you. Decide for yourself if you want your Plex friends to be able to see what you have watched.
