create an ‘other videos’ library, name your file appropriately, add local metadata or edit the video in plexweb to suit your needs.

I am not a very technical person. All I want to do is move the video from my desktop (windows 11) to Plex so I can play it on my big screen smart
TV.

Can you tell me the steps to do that?

Do you even have a Plex server? You cannot send video to your TV without running a server somewhere.

If you do not have a Plex server, consider alternative video players that can access the media themselves without the use of a server device, such as the excellent program Kodi.

I have “Plex Server” as software on my computer but not a hardware server. Previously after editing the video with “Premium” it ran on my desktop and my big screen just fine. But then we did a sweetening/cleanup with and AI enhanced software called Topaz, and now it wont run on my desktop or my big screen???
