I installed PLEX on my phone and on my Smart TV, I signed in using the same account and even signed up for premium. How do I stream my phones videos to the TV?
You installed the Plex server on your phone?
Usually people put the server on a computer and the apps for your phone and TV are just to play media you’ve added to the server
It might be easier just to get a screen mirroring app to cast your phone video to the TV
What’s funny is the App on my phone allows me to select my smartTV but obviously nothing happens. So you’re saying I should just transfer videos to my PC and then stream it to TV ?
That’s what I would suggest. When Plex plays a video it needs the processing power of a larger device like a computer… Space for video files is also a main reason
Install this on your computer (Windows)

That will put the server on your computer and then, yes, you can see everything on your server with your phone or TV to play it
