Hi,
I use a Synology NAS and Plex (free),
the movies are scanned fine, including artists, cover and description.
But as I understand there is also the option that trailers will be available.
But I can’t find any trailers in the details view from the movies.
Do I need a extra plugin, or what settings in the movie databases must be set (I find some in in the www and try them, but nothing changed: Still no trailers)

With a Plex pass, Plex will automatically link your movies with available trailers from an online repository.
If you’re using the free version, you can have trailers but you need to store those alongside your media.

Where .ext refers to the respective file extension.
As an alternative you could also store the trailer directly in the movie’s folder (e.g. The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (2011) > Theatrical Trailer #1-trailer.ext). This can be preferable if you only have a single trailer.

this seems to work - manually …
So no chance to get trailers automatically (with free), also no 3rd party plugin?
Or any hints to download trailers “automatically” on an other way from a (text) list of films (and rename and put the trailers then into the folder Plex expect …) ?
