How can i edit/remove dlna folders

Hello all, I am using my tv’s dlna feature to browse the movies on my pc, and while i do enjoy the multitude of features I really would like to turn this:

/Video, Music, Photos
//Movies,Video Channel, Shared Video, Remote Video, Watch later, Recommended, Preferences
///All movies,Unplayed, Recently released, Recently added, Recently Viewed, On deck, By collection, By genre, By year, By decade, By director, By starring actor, By Country, By resolution, By first letter, By Folder

into:
By Folder(movies), All movies (movies), Preferences, Others

Where Others is 1 folder containing the other folders.
I highlighted the folders of interest are.

The main reason why this is a problem is because the tv previews every folder I scroll over (to go from All movies to By folder the tv loads everything inside every folder between the 2 and takes a long time)

There is nothing that can be changed, unfortunately.

This makes me deeply sad and I wish for the developers to make the settings editable either by the web gui or by tweaking inside any of the settings files.

I would like this functionality as well. I’m happy to help write code for this. I’m coming from Mediatomb, which has exactly this, and is configurable via XML… The size of my collection causes most DLNA clients to perform poorly and or crash.
