After performing a channel scan I have unchecked the channels I don’t want to show.
When I then go to watch live TV all of the unchecked channels show in the program guide.
When I check the DVR it shows only 62 enabled channels but program guide shows all channels picked up from the initial scan.
Can anyone help?
May not apply to your situation, but if you are using a SiliconDust tuner, you can use the device mgmt UI (open browser to tuner IP address) and disable the channels you don’t want. Then add your device back to Plex and it won’t see any channels except the ones you want when it does the scan.

I’m using a Hauppauge WinTV-SoloHD.
I’ve just remembered I still have the WinTV8.5 software installed and read this could cause some issues.
I’ll uninstall it and try it again a bit later.
Update -
I’ve uninstalled WinTV8.5 and also deleted the DVR and set it up again.
The program guide is still showing channels that I unchecked.
Any advice on how to prevent these channels from showing?
After the EPG finished updating only the channels that I want are now showing.
I’m not sure if it was due to uninstalling WinTV8.5, reinstalling the DVR or a combination of both but it’s now resolved.
