Added my tuner back after DB crashed and had to start over. I have disabled a bunch of SD channels on the HDHomerun itself.
Plex sees that these channels re disabled just fine as when I go to the “enabled” list, it 1:1 reflects the channels that are available.
However when I view my Live TV & DVR Guide, I get channels that are disabled.
Ex enabled list starts at 101
Live TV & DVR Guide starts at 50
I have tried to remove DVR, delete DB & Cache, restart server & hdhomerun, and still this issue prevails.
I can provide a log, just need to know which one to generate.
Server Version#: 1.24.3.5033

still an issue that I cannot solve. 3 weeks and not a single reply from anyone.
Just another issue to go on the list of things that wont get fixed or investigated. If Plex did want to fix bugs and have your users report them, this system would have changed long ago.
Thanks, I was away this week and will PM you my logs, zip code & screenshots of both tuner settings in PMS, HDHomeRUN & when viewing Live TV & DVR guide, once I am home from work tomorrow.
If there is an issue with channel matching - where the wrong channels are matched - then that is a different problem from what this forum thread is about : disabled channels showing
To investigate that I would need zip code, guide name, debug server logs covering DVR Setup and EPG refresh together with details of which tuner channels are mismatched and what they are expected to be matched to
I can see from one of your screenshots that channels below 101 are showing
Can you tell me which Plex app that is / what device / what app version
Can you try out other client apps as well and tell me if there is a problem there as well - with screenshots
I have checked Plex Web, Plex for iOS, Plex for Roku and Plex for Android and only the android app still displayed disabled channels - but was fixed by force stopping the app and re-launching it
“If there is an issue with channel matching - where the wrong channels are matched - then that is a different problem from what this forum thread is about : disabled channels showing”
not sure where you got that from, that is not the issue I am describing.
Setup for epg is ok. When you view the actual library is when Plex decides to show more than what was setup. I don’t know how else to be clear about this along with my screenshots.
This happens across all of my devices. Android app, ccwgtv, Plex web local & hosted, Plex app, Plex media player app, etc.
Delete the tuner, restart Plex service, restart hdhomerun, etc do not resolve the issue, so I don’t know exactly how you are “fixing” this by resetting your app. I’ve had this issue on going for months, a simple restart at this point is out of the window.
The screenshots are from Plex web. Strange you can’t reproduce when myself and another user have been reporting the same issue.
I’ll try to get logs as soon as I can
Fwiw, I didn’t disable 5 channels and test this out. I spent an hour disbaling all sd channels where an HD channel exists on my tuner. Maybe try to do the same to replicate?
My Linux Plex server is always up to date based on apt repo.
My clients are all up to date or part of Android play store beta program.
I can take a giant screenshot to shot you what is setup in hdhomerun vs Plex epg vs what actually shows in “live tv & dcr” guide view if that make the actual issue abundantly clear.
when you go to “Live TV & DVR”, the channels displayed do not match.
The issue I mentioned with Android will be addressed in version 8.26 - if you are on that as beta - do get me screenshots / android logs and server logs
Oh that is amazing :)! Thank you for taking time to investigate & super happy you were able to replicate. Hopefully its fixed in the next version. I really apologize for having no time the past month other than to quickly respond to the post.
The development team are working on a fix for this and will address the channel matching screen and also the guide screen to ensure the right channel number shows
However - there are references here to tuning and playback errors but i was unable to reproduce that and despite there being 3 separate forum threads on this issue - there are no debug server logs attached showing the tuning error because we are thought to be tuning the disabled channels
In my tests in the UK where channels 250 and 601 are the same channel - i disabled 250 and have 601 enabled - and yes the mapping of channels is showing wrong - it is showing 601 mapped to 250 and in the guide grid - 250 shows instead of 601
But … when i tune the channel = the server logs show that I am tuning channal 601 (the right one) and not 250 - so I cannot reproduce the tuning / playback errors reported here
We had these statements made in the other forum threads
shows the wrong ones and wont play them
and
I can’t tune to any of those because they are not enabled.
and
it still defaults to the “lower” channel that doesn’t exist, Plex can’t tune the channel, and nothing works
Could someone get me debug server logs of tuning failing because we are tuning the disabled channels = please also enclose a screenshot of the HD Homerun channels screen showing the disabled channel that is in the guide and being played
