I’ve been away for a few weeks (seems a lot has happened) and returned to a plex update notification.
I updated to Version 1.16.2.1297 and all seemed well until I noticed one of my scheduled recordings didn’t occur.
When I checked my DVR setup I could see that most of the channel mappings had disappeared. When I went to add them back manually a lot of the channels don’t align. For example Channel 1 that should be BBC 1 Wales is shown as 001 Yorkshir (BBC 1 Yorkshire)
The DVR Lineup is Freeview-National Lineup United Kingdom OTA Broadcast
So people in the forums are talking about using the lineup associated with their postcode but I can find no where that I can select a different lineup. I have tried setting up a new DVR but again I don’t get the option to make any lineup selection.
I’ve discovered that trying to add a new DVR won’t give this option.
You need to completely delete the existing DVRs and then add one back.
If you follow this process through you will get the opportunity to add the 1st half of your postcode. This then allowed me to select FreeView Wales OTA as the channel mapping.
Don’t know yet what, if anything, this has done to my scheduled programmes.
Yes I tried that too, but although my postcode is Oxfordshire, it added back channels for Cambridgeshire, Wales, NI and Scotland
My HDhomerun however has all the correct channels , with the correct names, so the problem seems to be how Plex are matching against that list
