Plex for iOS is now cluttering my homescreen with “What’s on now”, “Popular shows”, “trending trailers” and “trending on appletv”. I haven’t find a way to disable these, anyone knows better? Really annoying!
Head here:
https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/online-media-sources
Set the following to “Disabled” (not “Disabled for managed users”) and then close and reopen the Plex app:
- Live TV
- Movies & Shows
- Discover Source (if you want the Discover stuff gone as well)
This will eliminate the On Demand and Discover tabs from the nav bar, and their associated hubs from the home screen. Unfortunately the Live TV tab will still be present, but its hubs will be removed from the home screen.
Thanks, all this new ”features” that needs to be disable to have what I want from plex making it hard and harder to stay on the plattform
It is awful on mobile devices. my family members are complaining and with good reason. Can i make it to at least look like before. This is the stupidest thing you have ever done. Makes it much more difficult to use. You forget that there are ppl who dont really use tech that much just when they get the hang of if it you change the ui completly and now i have to run from to another and explain how to use it over and over. Why would you change it so much and change the logic how it is displayed totally. Really stupid!!! And also forcing ppl to use plex amp for the music library. I just got them to use plex at all, and now they are suposed to use another app… Crazy
You realize that don’t work for Plex, right?
