How??? Please help me out with that matter. Thank you very much kindly.
You don’t. The Plex app is for playing videos only. This is not a video file sharing service. Plain and simple.
Wow. Thank you. But why was the download icon there in Plex App on iPhone? I mean you know the circle with download arrow in it? Because when I clicked on it and it says that the sync did not start because of something failed? How do I manually sync from my desktop (Plex) App to my Plex App via iPhone? How do I sync?
You’re mixing two terms with wildly different meaning. The circle with the down arrow is for Sync. That places a version of the video you want, in optimized format for your specific device, within the Plex app, on your device for ‘offline viewing’, such as when you don’t have internet on an airplane, out of mobile data, or aren’t connected to wifi.
That is not the same thing as downloading the video so you can remove it from your phone and play it elsewhere. Your initial post only indicated you wanted to remove the video from your phone using the Plex app.
The sync function in theory is a great idea. However, it is problem ridden. Some videos sync easily, others do not. Now that you know the correct terminology, and that you’re having a sync error, you’ll likely want to open a new thread indicating you need help with sync to your iphone. They’ll want a copy of your system logs after you tell your plex account to sync, and it fails. They will provide instruction on how to do so, and proceed with troubleshooting from there.
