How do I fix a failed update? <SOLVED>

<If providing server logs please do NOT turn on verbose logging, only debug logging should be enabled>

So after my last Plex server update, the app doesn’t launch anymore. I click the shortcut to launch it and the icon appears in the system tray, but when I mouseover it, it disappears.

Want to fix the install while retaining the library and watch history. Any pointers.

Found some tips, but some of those resulted in rebuilding the library.

OS is win10 pro.
