How do I get rid of the glowing grey bar in fullscreen?

I’m on the latest version, and there’s a glowing grey line above the progress bar on any video (streaming and local files), but my screenshot doesn’t capture it so I took a photo.

It remains even when the progress bar isn’t on the screen.

Is there a setting to change this, or is it a bug? My Windows taskbar is transparent and I changed the Windows border colours to black then turned those off, and it still shows. This isn’t present in other of my Windows apps so I think it’s Plex.

If the Windows screenshot doesn’t capture it, it most likely has to do with either the resolution setting, or zooming, crop, or overscan.

Is this a computer monitor or a TV device?
In the latter case, start by verifying that your desktop screen resolution in Windows has been set to a “TV” resolution, like 1920x1080, 1280x720, or 3840x2160 pixels.
If there is a nVidia GPU involved, go into their control panel and reset everything to default which has to do with scaling or overscan.

In the settings of the TV, try and disable Overscan as well.
