I downloaded this xvid and plex isn’t recognizing it. I tried converting it in handbrake (and a couple others) but none we able to. Could someone help me out? .
Plex does not decode rar files and neither does Handbrake and they are unlikely to any time in the future.
If you want to play that file in Plex you need to decode it yourself. I go not know if Plex would support the final file after a simple decode but I am pretty sure that Handbrake would be able to handle it once decoded.
One more thing: Plex does not support piracy and that file name system is usually used for pirated files so it might be better if you did not pose exact details of such files in the future.
