How do I install Plex on a DS418J ?

I just got a DS418J. I have installed the Plex key, and downloaded the PlexMediaServer-1.9.4.4325-1bf240a65-arm7.spk file. I chose package center, manual install and browsed to the file, then clicked next. I then get a message this package is not supported on the platform of diskstation or is incompatible with the current DSM version. I have updated my Synology to the newest DSM 6.1.3-15152 Update 8 before I started.
How can I run Plex on my NAS ?

The DS418J (ARMv8 - Realtek RTD1293 cpu) is not a supported processor architecture at the time.

Will that be supported at some point ?

I am working with Engineering on supporting it.

Be advised though, it does require NRE (Non-Recurring Engineering) time & resources for both Engineering and QA to create the appropriate binary package, address any issues which arise in testing, and have the final binaries blessed by QA. I cannot put a timetable on such a level of effort (not my management chain)

Any update on getting PMS for the DS418j? As i currently cannot use plex with windows 10. My home system is dead in the water at the moment.

There is nothing new to report since my previous update of two weeks ago.

Adding support for a new processor requires all the build and testing tooling be configured as well as the binaries themselves.
It is not an overnight task.

I know I know and I perfectly understand that may take some time. I was wondering if any prgress have been made since last November.
