My Plex server is running on a Mac (Mojave). I have music, photos, TV and movies. I would like to run a separate Plex Server for Music Only. I have an older Thin Mini ITX computer running Ubuntu 21.04 that I would like to use as a Plex Music Server only.
I was wondering if it is possible or if there is a way to transfer my playcounts? Ratings? Dates added? And other music file stats from my current Mac OS Plex Server to the Ubuntu server?
I don’t want to move the entire server over. I just want to take the music library and move it over to a new system.
Is this possible? Or am I going to just have to re-rate everything? I hope I don’t have to rereate everything. It would be a shame to lose all the dates history also. I like having the history playlists. Anyway any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
