Hey all…as you have probably guessed I am super noob…just started with Linux Mint and Plex. Seeing as I am new to both I just don’t know what I don’t know.
How do I know what info is safe to put on here in log format. I tried finding the server setting “Allow Plex Media Server tokens in logs” to verify it was disabled but cannot locate that.

It is not enabled by default but too many folks who did not understand what I was just enabled everything before sending logs, so that setting was removed from the UI.
The logs may contain your email and IP address which some just don’t like sharing. Some folks just grab a snippet from logs and blank out those things and only share the full logs when an employee asks for them.
If you want to share a log with an employee that asks for them you are welcome to message them to them directly by clicking on their username or avatar and you will see the message button. ( some employees do have messaging disabled for their account but you can always send them to me an I will get it to them.
