How do I move my files from the MacOS Music app to Plex on my Synology NAS?

Hello-

I am trying to do what I think should be a fairly straightforward thing. I’ve got ~500GB of music files on my iMac (in the Music app - NOT Apple Music streaming) and want to transfer those to my Sinology DS218play NAS with the latest DSM to be able to access through Plex.
I’ve done quite a bit of searching and trial and error and can’t seem to get it to work.
Any advice, secrets?
