ChuckPA, maybe you can help me with importing iTunes playlists. I am yet to be able to import my iTunes playlists from iTunes on my iMac to PLEX running on Synology NAS. I have already tried your standard method which just doesn’t work, period. As a result, I am not able to play any music from my playlists on PLEX. I have a large music collection (over 13,000 albums), and some 40 iTunes playlists, smallest one holding 40 tracks, the largest containing 1400 tracks.
Could you please walk me through how I transfer my iTunes playlists to PLEX. It would be very much appreciated

I’ll do my best to help. Here’s what I know so far (which isn’t a lot of help)
Importing on Synology won’t work unless your iTunes database is somehow already functional on the NAS. I’ve never been able to get the iTunes server to work on Synology. If you or anyone can assist with that, I will gladly work out the rest of the documentation.
The iTunes import documentation does work if the playlist is on a Windows computer. ( I got that to work by emulating windows on Linux)
The import should also work natively on Mac but I don’t own one.
