There are two episodes 1 for season 12,
s12e01.Part1.mkv
s12ep1.Part2.mkv
There are both showing up for me as s12 e01 in PLEX, is there a different way I should handle this?

And yes the show name Is before the s02 I was just giving a quick example.
I have now renamed the files
ShowName.s12.e01.EpisodeName.part1.mp4
ShowName.s12.e01.EpisodeName.part2.mp4
But they are still showing as 2 copys of s12e01, in this instance wouldn’t it make sense to have 2 separate s12e01 episodes as it is listed at tvdb?
I just named mine this way with test files and it showed up as a single item:
