Hello! I deleted the plex server thru the plex web app because I thought it would restart it back up automatically, but now I can’t figure out how to get it back up and running on my NVIDIA pro 2019. Found it in the Google play store but it shows as installed and there’s no way to uninstall it, it seems like. I just want to get it back up. Help!
I quit using my Shield as a server many years ago as I found that it was just no up to the requirements needed to be a good server.
However if I remember correctly there is an option inside the Plex app on the Shield that will install the server. I “think” it was in the settings menu for the app but it has been so long that it could be anywhere.

The server is actually part of the Plex App. You should be able to uninstall it by uninstalling the whole Plex App.
I have “surgically” removed the Plex server from my installation in the past (turned it back to just the client) by finding Plex server under system apps in the Nvidia settings menu and force stopping it then deleting data and cache from the server. Next time you go into the settings on the Plex App and scroll down to the bottom you should see the option to setup the plex server.
