Hi Guys,
I can see that on the admin user but can’t see that on any managed user menu or a way to share it along with the libraries.
Thanks.
See the “Enable / Disable Access” section of this support article:
Exactly what I was looking for.
Thanks.
Can Plex Movies & TV be shared with Remote Friends as well?
They can access it for free with a simple Plex account and accessing this URL: https://app.plex.tv/desktop/
No need to install Plex media server or any other software
What about, iPhone and iPads?
They would have to purchase the app (once for all iOS platforms and all devices) or have a Plex Pass.
Followed instructions and “Movies & TV” do not show up in “Online Media Sources”. I am updated to the latest version of PMS. Am I missing something?
Thanks
Do not show up where? Where are you looking?
I am looking in the web app to enable/disable access for managed users with the link that you provided.
Sorry, go here: https://app.plex.tv/desktop, click on your user icon (on the right), then on Account, and then on the left, click on Online Media Sources.
Thanks! That did the trick. I was going directly through the IP address of my PMS and it wouldn’t show up.
I have a Premium account, but the Plex Movies & TV don’t show up my iPad or iPhone apps (purchased)
Which iOS versions are installed on your devices?
I know it’s early days but it’s pretty poorly implemented. I’ve enabled the online source and it still does not show up for managed users.
Even if I could enable it, I see no way to disable this source for certain managed users who I would not want access. ie young children.

Check your app version and the requirements listed in the support document.
You may need an update.
My devices say that I have the latest version of the iOS
Plex app version, not iOS.
Sorry, FordGuy61, I misunderstood. I have the latest version. I have fixed it though… I deleted the iPad app and reinstalled and the Plex Moves & TV are now in the list. Thank you all for your quick responses.
