How do I take advantage of the custom sort order for collection?

I have a large collection of superhero movies with a smaller subset - MCU movies.

I want the MCU movies sorted by which ones happened first chronologically (not when they were released but for example the first Captain America movie was the first for viewing order not the Iron Man movie which came out first).

However in the larger group - super heros I want the movies sorted by name.

So if I go to the tags and change their sort tag to 1, 2, 3 etc. In the MCU group collection they come out in the right order but I want the superhero collection to sort by movie title. Is this possible using custom? Should I ask for it as a feature request?

I think the only way to do this is to not change the sort tags, so the larger collection will normally sort by titles.

Then use the “custom” collection order option in the MCU collection. The “custom” collection order option allows you to manually order a collection by dragging/dropping items within that collection:

I did a search before I created it and just in case things had changed posted my question. Since I’m not the only one who had it and the custom option is there I’ve put in a feature request. Plex is pretty amazing and part of what makes it amazing is that they can keep adding new features.
