I have no clue how to update Plex Media Server after downloading the update file which ends in a .spk file format. Hell, I can’t even open the file.
HELP!!! PLEASE!
.spk would be for Synology. You install this through their UI.
I suppose this is about a Plex Media Server running another your Syno NAS?
- Open the DSM web app
- Open the Package Center app
- Click
Manual install - Pick the file you’ve downloaded and follow the process

If this isn’t about a Syno, you probably downloaded an installer package for the wrong platform.
